Heidi is

a Chicago-based photo stylist with a creative mind who loves color and humor.

After Graduating with a Bachelor’s in Advertising from Temple University her focus switched from making ads to making cakes. Designing and decorating some of the most elaborate (and tasty) wedding and sculpted cakes was a great way of getting edible art out into the world. One day a photographer called and needed a professional cake decorator to style a cake for a photo shoot. Reminding her of her passion for photography and composing elements within a frame, she was hooked and has been styling ever since.

What she loves about her eclectic career is that it encompasses so many different creative mediums and endeavors. She can be found painting background canvases and surfaces, making colorful frosting for hand-dipped donuts, steam prepping canopy tents on the beach, sourcing veneer stone to build a fireplace or purchasing top of the line sofas.

When not making things for work, you can find her making things for fun.
